What is the difference between unlimited proxies and dynamic residential proxies?

Both unlimited proxies and dynamic residential proxies are types of residential proxies, but they differ in several key ways:

Unlimited residential proxies

  • Default to random proxy locations;
  • Offer unlimited bandwidth and no limit on the number of IPs;
  • Are ideal for tasks that need a large volume of proxies but are less sensitive to absolute stability, such as:
    • Large-scale web scraping,
    • General data collection.

Dynamic residential proxies

  • Support precise targeting down to cities (and regions within a country);
  • Offer multiple billing models such as pay-per-GB or pay-per-IP usage;
  • Are more suitable for tasks that require stable and highly anonymous connections, such as:
    • Account management,
    • Advertising verification,
    • Localized testing and login scenarios.
